Dr. Vinh Nguyen at Gentle Caring Dental

Dr. Nguyen was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska along with five other siblings. Aspiring to become a dentist, he completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and then completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

Following graduation, Dr. Nguyen chose to pursue several years of public service as a dentist at a healthcare clinic in Sioux City, Iowa, bringing quality healthcare to underserved patients. He has served as an adjunct faculty through the University of Iowa training dental students while continuing to pursue his own education through courses on a variety of topics to bring his patients the best in modern dental care.

He brings a wealth of experience in dentistry, including pediatric dentistry, and puts patients of all ages at ease. Dr. Nguyen enjoys providing the highest level of personal and professional dental care for the whole family and educating parents and their children on their dental care needs.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Nguyen finds joy in spending quality time with his family. He is happily married to his wife, Katherine, who has been a constant source of support and encouragement. Together, they have a son named Jack, who brings immense happiness and laughter to their lives. Their dog, Max, is also a big part of their family. Dr. Nguyen is a die-hard Cornhuskers fan and likes to stay fit by golfing and long distance running.
